"G-Guide Mobile" is a TV programming guide and remote control Java application with the capability to display advertising panels, preloaded in the majority of handsets in the NTT docomo FOMA series, the au WIN series, and Softbank Mobile’s 3G series devices. It is the mobile equivalent of the advertisements found in newspaper radio and TV listings. 

This Java-based application service provides a TV program guide, AV remote functions for both TV and video players, as well as the capability for users to program remotely their HDD recorders from outside of the home. With over 28 million registered users, it is unrivaled by any comparable mobile service in Japan.

In addition, more than half of the registered users of G-Guide consist of teen-generation consumers. It is an advertising medium that can be counted on to deliver a high click-through rate.
